Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Chris now attends Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts as an Entrepreneurship Major. Chris’ entrepreneurial spirit has led him to get involved with a variety of start-up and established companies. At the end of his sophomore year he teamed up with four engineers from Tuft University to start a renewable energy consulting and development firm, focused on behind the meter wind and solar power projects. During his time at Emergent Chris helped the company grow into one of the leading community wind consulting and development firms in the northeast. In 14 months of operation, Emergent has built a diverse client list that includes two Fortune 100 companies, Honeywell International and Proctor & Gamble. Most recently he was nominated for Businessweek’s Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of College Saver, a direct marketing company focused on the college student market. Chris was also the head of Strategic Development for www.smtp.com, with which he creates software partnerships between the company and clients with mass emailing needs. In addition to his work in the business world, Chris enjoys volunteering for various non-profit organizations. For over a year and a half he was a leader at Young Life, a non-denominational Christian ministry that helps youth through life struggles. To this day, Chris volunteers at the Saranac Young Life Camp in the Adirondacks. |
