John Hitter – Head of Technology Group at Walter & Shuffain

Jonathan C. Hitter leads the Technology Group at Walter & Shuffain. Jon specializes in auditing, tax planning and compliance engagements. He has more than fifteen years of diversified public accounting experience providing services to privately-held middle market companies in the technology, manufacturing, real estate, and professional services industries. Jon also has three years of experience working for both private and publicly traded SEC companies.

Jon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University and his Master’s in Taxation from Northeastern University. He also serves as a member of the Finance Committee and Capital Outlay Committee for the Town of Sharon.

Tom received his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and received his B.S., magna cum laude, in finance from Bryant College.
