Educational Background

Bill Parisi, CSCS, is the founder and CEO of the Parisi Speed School. Parisi completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at Iona College, New Rochelle, NY in 1990. At Iona, Bill was a Two-Time NCAA Division I Track & Field All-American in the Javelin Throw and qualified for the 1988 U.S. Olympic Trials. In 1989 Bill studied human performance training in Finland. He competed and trained in Europe with some of the best athletes and performance coaches in the world at that time. Bill then attended the University of Florida as a G.A. for the Gators Track Teams and Montclair State University respectively where he studied human anatomy and exercise physiology.

Bill Parisi is the Founder and C.E.O. of one of the most successful youth fitness and sports performance franchises in the world— Parisi Speed School. Headquartered in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Bill’s journey started out as an undersized, un-athletic high school athlete. He went on to excel in football and track due to his deep desire to learn and his application of best in class performance strategies throughout high school. Armed with only a $500 dollar van and a motivational speech Bill founded the Parisi Speed School in 1992. His business acumen and personal performance training experience along with the burning desire to help others was the foundation in which the Parisi Speed School was created. In 2005, Bill began franchising the concept and in only four years, the company has grown to 44 franchise locations across the United States.

Parisi provides its franchise partners— Health Clubs, Medical Fitness Centers, Sportsplexes and Tennis/Racquet Clubs– with proven systems to both penetrate the youth fitness market and enhance overall membership sales. The company has trained well over 100,000 athletes ranging from beginner levels to world class professionals in all sports. Parisi Speed School has been featured by media outlets such as ESPN, Fox Sports Net, NFL Network, NBC, The New York Times, Sporting News and Sports Illustrated. Parisi Speed School was recently named as one of 2009’s “Top 20 Fastest Growing Franchises In the United States” by Franchise Times Magazine and also one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Top New Franchises For 2009”.
