Dr. Jennifer Bailey is a Babson Professor whose areas of teaching and research expertise are innovation management, entrepreneurship, and operations management. In her research, she explores how organizations optimize their innovation resource investments to maximize the likelihood of generating innovation breakthroughs while managing the risks associated with innovation, startup launch and scaling. Dr. Bailey received her Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Scheller School of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a B.S.E in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
At Babson College, Jennifer is the Faculty Advisor for Babson’s Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design concentration. She teaches the Integrated Product Design course, which is a three college interdisciplinary course with Babson College, Olin College of Engineering and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) conference for her research on innovation. Dr. Bailey was a recipient of the Babson College Dean’s Award for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching.
