Marla M. Capozzi MBA’96 is a leader and dean in McKinsey Academy, McKinsey & Company’s new global venture for client leadership development and capability building based in Boston. She has served as a leader of McKinsey’s Global Strategy and Innovation Practice and Digital McKinsey. For the past 17 years at McKinsey, Capozzi has served global clients across sectors on topics, including strategy, innovation, disruptive technologies, corporate venture capital, building new ventures, governance, and organizational change. She has served clients across private sectors, public, and government as well as family and social enterprises. She also served on the McKinsey Regional Technology Council, a leadership team focused on digitizing McKinsey.
Marla is also the first woman to serve as chair of the Board of Trustees at Babson College, where she earned her MBA with honors. She also served as chair of Academic Affairs, a member of the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Advisory Board, and on the board of Babson Global, an innovation initiative that developed new global opportunities to fulfill Babson’s mission to educate entrepreneurial leaders globally. In 2006, she received a Distinguished Recent Alumni Award, and in 2017 was one of the recipients of the Richard J. Snyder Distinguished Service to the College awards.
